Provenance: given to the vendor by Pat Graham-Gardiner in 1984. PGG grew up with Rudolf Sauter and was adopted by the author John Galsworthy
Generally a bit grubby. General brown spotting particularly visible in the lighter parts of the painting. General discolouration. A few chips around the edge. No signs of any restoration.
