Lladro - 'Dama de la Corte Espanola - La Menina' translating to 'Lady of the Spanish Court, the Maid of Honour'. A special limited edition (74/1000) Lladro piece made to celebrate Velazquez's painting 'La Menina', depicting a scene from 17th Century Spanish court. An impressive figurine standing 59cm (23 inches) in height, in shades of blue and green with highlights in white, brown and pink. Glazed marks to underside indicating it was sculpted by Jose Puche, decorate by J Ruiz, model No 74 signed and dated 8th October 1996. Printed Lladro mark and impress design number 1812. With information booklet and mahogany stand. Width of stand 58cm, depth 41cm, height 4.5cm.
