made in yellow metal, the oval case is not engraved on the outside, inside it is engraved in memory of A.R. Chute 90th Regiment 23rd February 1858 (possibly 90th regiment of Perthshire Light Infantry who saw action in the 1858 Indian mutiny) there is an empty silk lined glazed locket to the other side. dimensions with the bail 4.8cm x 2.6cm, on a 9ct gold vintage chain, length approx 54cm, weight 20.1gms
