Wonderfully observed with fine detail achieved in the subtle blends of the face, as well as great texture and movement in the sitter's golden hair. Signed bottom right and dated to 1845. Housed in a very attractive antique moulded gilt frame. Guy & Co. Ltd. framers sticker to verso.
