A late 20th century white metal model of HMS 'Beagle', maker Ammonite Ltd, Birmingham: set full sail on a green veined marble base with silver plaque 'HMS Beagle, 1831' and numbered 546/1000, 16cm high (rigging restored). *Notes- HMS Beagle was the Royal Navy 10-gun sloop on which Charles Darwin travelled 1831-1836.
