ITALY, KINGDOM. THREE SECOND WORLD WAR MEDALS Italy. Medal of the Maritime Artillery Militia (Medaglia Milizia Artiglieria Marittima), 1935-1943
The Coastal Defence Militia was formed by Royal Decree on 21 January 1935 following the transfer of responsibility for coastal defence batteries from the army to the navy. It was disbanded on 6 December 1943. (See: Casolari SD65). The medal is rare (R3).

Medal of the Florentine Old Guard of the Voluntary Militia for National Security (Medaglia Veccia Guardia Fiorentina, The Medal was awarded to members of the Florentine Old Guard to commemorate their visit to the Covo (hideout) of Alessandro Italico Mussolini (1910-1930), brother of Benito Mussolini, at 35 via Paolo da Cannobio in Milan. Italy. Medal of the Garibaldi Partisan Brigades (Medaglia Brigate Partigiani Garibaldina) 1943-1945
The Medal was instituted at Rome on 8 September 1947 to be awarded to those who had fought in the Garibaldi Brigades against both German occupation and the Italian fascists of the Italian Social Republic. The Medal is rare.
