A SECOND WORLD WAR GERMAN ARMY AFRIKAKORPS ARMBADGE, SONDERVERBAND 288. An armbadge for the the special purpose commando unit Sonderverband 288, BeVo type machine woven with a palm tree before a setting/rising sun and swastika. Apparently cut from an Afrikakorps greatcoat. The badge 6.5 x 5cm. *CR Staples to the border, otherwise good condition, backing roughly cut.
