A Chinese porcelain Straits Market jardinière and stand, 19th century, the hexagonal planter externally decorated with birds in flight amidst chrysanthemum and peony sprays, against a turquoise ground, 26.5cm wide, the stand similarly decorated, 18cm high overall (2) (at fault)
Jardiniere - Wax residue visible to the interior. The base of the jardiniere has previously been detached around the entire parameter and re-glued. The interior is extensively stained. The exterior palette remains bright and vivid despite bearing scratching and staining.
Stand - Three sides to the octagonal stand cracked and bearing glued repairs. The interior of the stand stained. Firing cracks to the underside of each foot of the stand. Scratching, and staining also visible.
