A Bloor Derby figure, of Winged Time, the draped personification holding an hourglass on his raised thigh, his foot resting on a terrestrial globe, his emblematic scythe behind him, picked out in polychrome enamels and light wash, circular base with gilt band, 18cm high, numbered N222 in sgraffito only, c.1820 For a similar example see: Bradshaw, Derby Porcelain Figures 1750-1848, 1990, page 311 and illustrated as fig. 257 on page 310 Provenance: the Wilders Collection, labelled.
