A Japanese autograph album inscribed A Farewell Hope, Sending to Ms. Turner, Showa 15th year (1940), December 21 - Vice Principal Ms. L. K. Tanner was in charge of the second phase of the development of St. Hilda's, Church of England School (for the junior and senior high school levels) in 1887 as Kōran Girls' School. In the second phase, when Ms. Tanner was the vice principal, the school was located in Shirogane Sankō chō in the Shiba Ward of Tokyo (1912-1941), the signatures on painted pages and annotated in English, together with a photograph of Ms Tanner, with Japanese students in European and traditional dress, annotated verso with names and 'God-Children'- the book cloth bound, with outer dust cover, c1940, album 34 x 25cm
