An extensive ww2 group with service in the far east
This 4 medal group comes with a good amount of paperwork including part of the original box, a testimonial of the gents service signed by a royal artillery major in command of an anti Air battery in India, and the service book.
Group is associated to SGT Mahoney of the A&S Highlanders. His service book shows that he was a teacher prior to enlistment and he enlisted in 1941 and was deployed to India in 1942.
This group also comes with a South East Asia command patch, which alone are extremely rare, and an imperial Japanese cap tally, which are as rare as hens teeth here in the UK.
This group contains plenty of rare and interesting items.
