Circle of Barbara Hepworth DBE (1903-1975) - 'Forms', watercolour, bears initials "BH", label to frame verso "St. Ives School of Painting", 20cm x 29cm, framed, together with a book "Barbara Hepworth, a Pictorial Autobiography", see page 40, image 105 "Forms and Hollows, Plaster, 10 in", and signed/inscribed "My every good wish Barbara - St Ives 17/9/71". It has been thought that the book and painting may have been a gift from Hepworth to a lecturer at The St Ives School of Painting, where she was a patron.
