An 18th century oak two tier candle box, probably Welsh, the shaped back with an almond shaped aperture over the two candle troughs, 41cm H x 32cm W x 10cm D
Full height joint split to the back board, very minor evidence of worm to the underside of the front board, with minor chip/loss 6cm long, small chip to the underside corner, very minor split to the loop handle.
Very minor general wear and marks commensurate with age and use
