Two earthenware commemorative Crimean War jugs, the first a relief moulded example depicting soldiers at Kertch, with text below, with allove buff coloured glaze, 17.5cm high, together with a James Pankhurst jug, relief moulded and with allover pale buff glazes, depicting soldiers shaking hands and British and French coat of arms to the spout, registration mark to the base, 20cm high. (2)

More Information

James Pankhurst jug has two pierced holes near rim. There are small hairline cracks around the base of the handle, and to the mark to the base. The other jug has no chips, cracks or restoration.
