A late 17th century oak mule chest with double fold carving & fielded panels to front and sides, embellished with applied wooden detailing (probably later). The chest is carved with the initials 'TC' to the top corners and has a wooden lock escutcheon. There are two base drawers, retaining the original wooden knob handles, the whole raised on stile feet.
Condition report: Signs of historic woodworm.
