Railway. Infrastructure - Signal Boxes. A collection of approx. 93 x 35mm, colour slides, on mixed film stock. The slides were taken by John Meredith, and feature a good selection of signal boxes. Most of the boxes are in the North Eastern Region and feature ex NER boxes. All of the slides are exterior views with some duplication. Locations include: Harrogate, Winning Crossing, New Bridge, Beverley, Bedale, Haydon Bridge, Cliburn, Cattel, Picton, Prudhoe, Strensall, Newsham South, Kirkham Abbey, Halldene, Heighington, Bedlington South, Monkswearmouth, Hunmanby, Seaham etc. All of the slides are captioned and most date from the 1990's.
