An oval tortoiseshell trinket box with white-metal inlay decoration, unmarked, late 18th/early 19th Century; together with a Victorian mother-of-pearl card case, rectangular, with push-button opening, with blue satin interior, the cover with an inlaid white-metal lozenge engraved with scrolling foliage, the shaped cartouche to the centre engraved with initials 'MG'.
