19THC CHINESE CANTON ENAMEL INCENSE BURNER. An unusual 19thc Chinese Canton enamel incense burner or possibly a spittoon (zhadou), of circular shape with various flowers and character marks within circular panels. With mask handles to each side (one ring missing), and with a lift off lid and opening to the base. Some damages, 20cms diameter. ** There are various damages to the enamel including a part of the base, underside and interior. Ring missing from handle, brass roundels on the lid dented, rim of base dented.
