PAPAL STATES - UNDERPAID COVER TO DUBLIN WITH WIDE TOMBSTONE "*/FR/2F" MARK: 6 Mar. 1869 underpaid mourning env. (strip sellotape on reverse, a few tone spots) from Rome to Dublin ("H&K PACT/A/MR II/5/1869" T.P.O. plus London cds backstamps) with tombstone "*/FR/2F" accountancy mark (partially covered by a hs - possibly "Insufficiente"). Having Rome two-ring & blue "E.PONT/St MICHEL" cds's on front & franked by 1868 10c Vermilion & 40c Lemon (both with faults). A colourful example of an accountancy mark not commonly seen.
