R.M.S. OLYMPIC::
R.M.S. OLYMPIC: Extremely rare original life ring from the Olympic, it is believed to be one of, if not the only life ring from Olympic still in existence. Listed in Ken Schultz’s catalogue of Fall 1999 as "This ring has been on display at the Marquis of Granby in Yorkshire since the auction of Olympic's contents in the 1930s. The Granby's bar was entirely covered in Olympic's panelling and artefacts and many of you saw the ring there, as I did when I visited the pub. The ring is without question the most desirable of its genre, especially when one realizes it is believed that, for some reason, Titanic had no named rings." The ring is located in Berkeley, California and the new owner can arrange for it to be shipped after the auction at their own expense. 30ins.
