Deans Rag Book Co - Mickey Mouse - an early c1930s Mickey Mouse plush toy by Dean's Rag Book Co. Black and white, with boot button eyes, pink poppers and printed Reg No. under chin. Generally in good condition for age. Measures approx: 17cm tall.

Provenance: once owned by 636638 Flight Sergeant Duncan Spark of the Royal Air Force. Family legend has it that this toy was carried with him at all times during his service, and was in his pocket when his aircraft crashed into the English channel during the war. Spark survived, and this Mickey stayed with him throughout his life. No further details are known, but Spark's RAF Certificate Of Service is included.
