A good Belgian 6 shot 12mm Lefaucheux double action pinfire revolver by Francotte of Liege, number 129360, c 1863, sighted octagonal barrel 156mm engraved in Gothic script “Auguste Francotte a Liege”, the breech stamped “E. LEFAUCHEUX Invr BREVETE”, Liege proved, nicely engraved overall with panels of vine leaves and tendrils, having finely chequered ebony grips, lanyard ring, and traces of having been silver plated overall.
