A Vic 1845 pattern infantry field officers levee sword, slender, very slightly curved, fullered blade 32½”, etched on both sides with crown, VR cypher and foliage within fenestrated panels, regulation brass triple bar hilt incorporating crowned VR cypher, with turn down inner portion, stepped pommel, chequered thumbpiece, wirebound fishskin grip, in its brass scabbard with 2 rings. Basically GC (guard a little mis-shapen, outer bar split). GC (blade some wear, minor scabbard dents).
