Some water stains and brown spots, particularly to the right hand half of the picture and along the top edge. A few light scratches to paint. Otherwise generally ok. No signs of any restoration.
Provenance: given to the vendor by Pat Graham-Gardiner in 1984. PGG grew up with Rudolf Sauter and was adopted by the author John Galsworthy
