A RUSSIAN SILVER EGG
by Cyprian Labecki, assay master Josef Sosnkowski, Warsaw 1878, inset with coloured cabochon stones and applied in relief with hunting trophies of wild boar, the interior with the figures of two boar, raised on tripod feet. 10cm high, 3.5 troy ounces
The pull-off cover fits well. The 'stones' are intact. There is some age-related surface wear, but generally, the egg is in good condition.
