French 1866 Pattern Chassepot Bayonet with single edged fullered blade 574mm in length. Maker marked on spine of blade and dated 1869. Overall length 700mm. Working release catch. Complete with scabbard.
Some nicks to edge of lower half of the blade. Scabbard has some rust overall, but has some original paint intact.
