SS. Schiller, wrecked on Retarrier Ledge on 7 May 1875, Western Rocks, Isles of Scilly Silver plated teaspoon, length 15cm Marked with the initials of Louise Becker (NLB), a 1st class wealthy passenger on board the German SS. Schiller liner, travelling from New York to Hamburg with her husband. The ship was wrecked on Retarrier Ledge on 7 May 1875, Western Rocks, Isles of Scilly. According to CORNWALL ONLINE PARISH CLERKS (Genealogy) (opc-cornwall.org), Mrs Louise Becker did not survive and was buried in Falmouth.
