This car has just been completed after undergoing a painstaking & loving restoration over the last 2-3 years. It has been modified tastefully & all the work has been done to the highest standard using all trade materials & receipts in parts alone totalling around £4000. With over 15 years’ experience in the trade, the vendor has carried out nearly all the work himself at his small family body shop.

The car was purchased back in 2013 it had been on the road until recently however was starting to look a little sorry for itself. Although the bodywork was starting to show signs of its age the chassis was strong & sound, on commencing work it was evident the car had had a repaint/restoration of sorts previously and although finished in blue was originally white.

The shell was stripped back to bare metal and all repairs/metal/filler work carried out to the highest standard & a photo diary of the work taken, the car has been finished in a pale blue/green silver colour again to an extremely high standard each stage hand blocked & refinished to a high gloss finish. Although not a triumph colour the colour both suits and enhances the TR’s lines, The TR6 has also been ‘de-bumpered’ & de-seamed again enhancing the sleek lines of the TR6 & setting it apart from all standard looking TR6’s.

The car has had a new interior refit in ox blood red including carpets, interior trim set, leather seats, the dashboard facia & steering wheel have been stained in mahogany & lacquered, the dashboard has been recovered in carbon effect vinyl & a one off customised alloy effect gear surround fitted complete with redirected dashboard lights. The original mohair roof has been restored & the fair beige colour complements both the exterior colour & interior which in turn work beautifully together.

The TR6 has had a head up rebuild with Stage 3 head fitted, complete with up-rated valves & stem seals for unleaded fuel. New gaskets including water pump & all hoses, new thermostat, new belt, radiator flushed & detailed, new alternator, new/reconditioned original Lucas injection/metering unit with new injectors, new plugs & leads, stripped/cleaned/detailed air inlet & throttle bodies, new brake & clutch lines, new brake & clutch master cylinders, new throttle cable, new stainless steel exhaust system (manifold back), new high powered battery, new brake pads & shoes, new vented discs & braided brake hoses, calipers, new Gaz front shocks & new lowered springs all round, new track rod ends & gaiters. Engine has just been professionally tuned.
