A Japanese Arita bowl, late Meiji/Taisho period. Unusually decorated with birds in a naturalistic setting against a light blue ground to the interior with scrolling foliate decoration with flowers against a celadon ground to the exterior. 8.5 in (21.7 cm) diameter.
Condition report: Good condition with slight wear to the interior with age.
