The centralpainting depicts a scene most likely after a European print with a man reclining under a tree playing a lute, a woman playing a triangle and a man with castanets, in a landscape setting; also depicted are two barrels, a flask and two glasses. Encircling the rim is a border of imitation rococo scrollwork.
