Richard Hoare (20th century) - 'Colonsay After Rain - Winter', inscribed with the artist's name together with a title and numbered no. 23 said to be signed on the reverse of the panel, oil on panel, 9.5" x 14.75"
The work is in excellent condition throughout with reasonably thick impasto (thick paint), the grain of the panel is purposely showing through on the left hand side in the sky and the work is contained within a box type plain washed pine wooden frame.
