An 18th century oak 30-hour longcase clock by Stephenson of Congleton, the scrolled pediment with centre finial, above a plain frieze, the engraved brass dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary date aperture amongst acanthus scrolls, flanked by plain pilasters, the door with crossbanded inlay, on a stepped plinth base with bracket feet. Includes weight and pendulum. Dial measures 11”. Total height 202cm 6’8”.
Condition report: Old repair to cornice. Heat expansion crack to base.
