The back of seven hand-shaped spindles, jointed through a mid-rail and topped by matching cresting rail, each outer spindle interlocked through the outplayed arms, with four further short spindles below, the one-piece elm seat with flat front and gently bowed rear, on four hand-shaped splayed legs morticed in outer pairs through an under-bearer, height 86.5cm, width 67cm, depth 53cm
