Manuscript Journal 1931 a quite remarkable ms journal written apparently from Bermuda in 1931 by someone signing as 'Robin'. The journal comprises a considerable number of what can only be described as 'love letters' to an unnamed woman, only referred to a 'Dear Lady', but discussing all manner of events, places etc etc which were current at the time. Written in ink and pencil in a very neat legible hand on 100+pp 4to in a government issue exercise book. The author has clearly 'got it bad' in terms of his somewhat obsequious references to his love, who was herself on a voyage to Argentina at the time - hence the 'letters' being laid down in this book, as they were clearly not posted. An unusual compilation of heartfelt feeling to say the least!
