Pressed burr wood circular snuff box, 19th Century, the cover decorated with a scene of revellers, titled 'Fete Flamande', tortoiseshell lined, 8.5cm diameter
The lid has warped slightly, gapping to approx. 2-3mm when pressed at one edge. This box is nicely patinated and has a peeling wear at the extremities. The lid does close but with slight play.
