A piece of cloth believed to be from George Harrison's coat worn in the Cavern during 1960, the vendor wrote to George Harrison's mother in Liverpool and received a note 'George's coat worn at the Cavern 1960', and the piece of cloth, 4 by 5cm, the original envelope with Liverpool postmark dated 9th May 1964; Mrs Harrison was known to be a keen recipient of Beatles fan letters and enjoyed responding to them (Davies, Hunter 'The Beatles'; pub. Ebury Press, 2009, P. 361), together with two Beatles fan Club autograph cards from circa 1964, each 10.5 by 14cm. (3)
