A Victorian Charles Thomas Fox & George Fox hallmarked London silver and glass presentation inkwell - approx. gross silver weight 496 grams and measuring 26cm in diameter - the inscription saying 'E. Johnson Esqr a mark of esteem from Mr A.J.B and J. Mildred' this inkwell was presented to 'E. Johnson' by Sir Alexander James Beresford Hope and Mildred Hope in July 1850. A.J.B was a British author and Conservative politician.
Missing original inkwell liner and has very small nibble to base of inkwell
