1431-1433 King Henry VI First Reign Pinecone-Mascle issue Calais mint Halfgroat (S 1877). Obverse: crowned facing bust within a tressure of arcs with trefoils to the internal angles. Cross fleury mintmark. Reverse: long cross dividing beaded circles, three pellets in each of the central angles, 'VIL ◊ LA xx CALI SIE o' in the middle ring with pinecone and mascle symbols. Around edge: 'POSVI DEVM xx A DIVTOR E MEVM' around the clipped edge. Weight: 1.72g. Diameter: 21.5mm.
