NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY: 3 Sept. 1896 env. (small portion removed at back to London bearing 2d letter stamp (clipped at left) no. "90910" and ½d vermilion pair, all tied by "LONDON N/N/17" duplex. The env. with ms "To be posted/at Kings Cross/Station" at top left. A good early item.
