A pair of early 20th century silver mounted candlesticks by Henry Matthews (date and assay marks worn), the columns decorated with acorn swags upon stepped square bases, Corinthian capitals and detachable sconces with beaded borders, each 15.3cm high (at fault)
Extensive splitting and denting to base, some areas of solder repair. The felt to the base in becoming detached. Columns show moderate denting and moderate wear/loss to the detail. Capitals show moderate denting, some piercing and moderate wear/loss to the detail. Sconces show heavy denting, some piercing and possible signs of solder repair.
