AN 1897 PATTERN GEORGE V INFANTRY OFFICER'S SWORD. With an 83 cm tapering pointed blade with partial fuller, etched with scrolling decoration and Royal crest, indistinctly marked. With broad guard with George V crest with scrolling decoration, wire bound shagreen grip and domed pommel. 99 cm overall.

Some light surface rust to blade, decoration indistinct, wrong nut to top and lacking scabbard.
