TWO FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY WAR MEDALS TO THE ROYAL NAVY AND ANOTHER TO THE ROYAL MARINES. Three War Medals: J/68372 T.H. Smith Ord R.N. Thomas Smith from South Shields joined the Royal Navy on the 8th March 1917. He died whilst serving on Q ship H.M.S. Stonecrop when she was torpedoed on the 18th September 1917. He is commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial. And Medal named to K.37703 H.C. Mills Sto 1. R.N. Charles Mills from Plaistow joined the Royal Navy on the 10th November 1916. He served aboard H.M.S Snaefell which did much good work at Gallipoli. Mills died on the 5th June 1918 when she was struck by a torpedo from UB 105. He is commemorated on the Plymouth Naval Memorial. Mounted for display with copied research. A third named to PO/8360 Pte H. Mc Loughlin R.M.L.I. from Portsmouth who was born on the 31st December 1877 who died on the 13th January 1915. Mounted for display with copied research.
