A BRASS AND STEEL BIRDCAGE MOVEMENT BY FRANCIS GEARE, RINGWOOD, EARLY 18TH CENTURY AND LATER with a single hand, anchor escapement, outside countwheel and striking on a bell, the 10inch brass dial with a silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals interspersed with fleur-de-lys and inscribed 'Fran Geare Ringwood fecit, together with another brass and steel birdcage movement, with an outside countwheel and striking on a bell 29.5cm high.
