Circle of John Rathbone (English, 1750-1807), Landscape with classical ruins and a bridge. oil on panel, English, late 19th century, running pattern frame. 15½ x 19½in. (39.4 x 49.5cm.). Panel has been extended on four sides and the joins are visible. Noticeable separation of the paint in the dark areas due to the artists use of bitumen. Surface dirt over discoloured varnish.
