A Staffordshire ‘lion and lamb’ group, mid 19th century, supposedly inspired by American lion-tamer Isaac Van Amburgh, who last visited Britain in 1848. Height 26cm.

Long, horizontal crack at front of plinth, as shown; otherwise good.
