A good 7 bore (.875") percussion fowling piece, 53" overall, barrel 36", engraved in Gothic script "Irwin Wallas, Wigton & Carlisle", with two gold lines and scroll engraving at the breech, the lock and hammer finely engraved with fern tip border, scrolls, game birds and "I. Wallas" in Gothic script, walnut halfstock with chequered fore end and wrist, horn fore end cap and engraved steel mounts, the trigger guard with a hound, with its original brass mounted ramrod. GWO & C, the lock and barrel retaining some original finish, some knocks to the butt. £500-600
