A nameplate CORONATION with its king's crown above and integral inscription below from the London & North Western Railway George the Fifth Class 4-4-0 built at Crewe, Works No 5000, in June 1911 and named to commemorate the Coronation of King George V and Queen Mary that year which coincided with the completion of the 5000th engine built at Crewe Works as recorded on the inscription. Its running number was No 1800 but it also ran as No 5000 and became LMS 5348 in June 1927, then LMS 25348 until withdrawal in June 1940. During its life a royal coat of arms was displayed on the tender and a LNWR coat of arms below the nameplate with special brass decoration on the boiler bands.
