Victorian Royal Navy Flag Officer's Sword
31 inch, single edged, slightly curved blade with large fuller. Traces of Victorian royal coat of arms and crowned fouled anchor with floral scroll panels. Gilt brass guard with rear folding panel. Victorian crowned fouled anchor cartouche. Lion mask pommel and backstrap. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its leather scabbard with ornate gilt mounts, all with central oak leaf bans. Complete with later gilt cord sword knot.
