A large WWII German navigational gyroscope (?), of mainly aluminium construction, diameter of outer ring 24", the inner ring mounted on springs, the central mechanism on gimbals, the outer ring bearing Luftwaffe Waffenamt stamp and various numbers including "41" date or manufacturer's code. GC The vendor states that this was taken from a V1 which crashed in Kent.
