18THC INSCRIBED BRASS DOG COLLAR - WEST PENNARD. An 18thc brass dog collar, inscribed Mr Rob Townsend, West Pennard, 1765. *West Pennard is in Somerset.
Collar is slightly bent out of shape, when trying to close it shut it springs open again, the metal loop on the outside - the brass area around this may have been repaired (I can see two lines around it, one end looks uneven and has probably been trimmed.
